We don’t talk about our numbers in public. But we’re extremely pleased with how the podcast has been received, and we’ve just passed a notable milestone in terms of the number of people who have downloaded and listened to it. These are real people btw, not Twitter impressions or spamalot Ukrainian bot factory bullshit figures.

We had a plan for the first year and we’re way beyond that, despite being still some way from reaching our first anniversary.

So, we’re in generous mood and want to thank you, the person - again, you’re all real people - who subscribes to this newsletter and listens to the podcast on a regular basis.

We’ve been holding a small monthly get together for a while, where we get together to meet each other, like our parents’ generation once did, before Twitter and coronavirus.
And now we want to expand the invitation to you.

There’s no agenda and no dress code, no contrived networking formula and - controversially in Sean's opinion - there are no name badges. It’s a bar, so you pay for your own drinks, we’re not made of money ffs.

What we’ve noticed is that the podcast sits at the centre of a network of people from across the sports business, at all levels of seniority, and from both the demand and supply side of the table - people who want work and people who need things doing.

For obvious reasons, we need to know who’s planning to come along.
